Ayelet Hillel-Birenzwig, a partner at Shekel & Co. Law Offices, joined the firm in 2007.
Ayelet specializes in tax law with an emphasis on the representation of clients vis-à-vis the Israeli tax authority, including pre-rulings, tax settlements and assessment discussions.
Prior to that, Ayelet worked for the Israeli Tax Authority for seven years in various positions as a tax supervisor for the Tel-Aviv 1 Income Tax Assessment Office, a supervisor in the Professional Practice Department of the Israeli Tax Authority, and a professional representative of various income tax offices in Israel (Haifa, Jerusalem, Tiberias). Ayelet also served as a professional consultant to former directors of the Tax Authority.
